That and it's not he govenments JOB to supply my healthcare needs.. it's mine. You want to see a screwed up medical system with our research and better ways to fight disease come to a screeching halt, let the government run it... Personally I'm hoping for cures to some seriuos diseases in the future, and you can bet if the gov't is running the show, they'll find the cures, just 75 - 100 years later..

Well there's the answer - you want universal health care, put George Bush in charge. Problem solved. There's nothing private industry can do that government can't do better.
