Wawa has good eggnog!

I haven't been drinking eggnog this year because I don't want to back track from the forty plus pounds I've lost this past year but my husband swears WAWA brand is the bestest ever.

WaWa eggnog isn't bad at all, has a nice flavor. Not as thick as most, don't feel the need to thin it with milk or something.

Their bagels, however.... nothing more than round pieces of bread. Even toasted it's not crispy on the outside. Eh.

Holy Carp!! I just looked at the nutrition info....

I bought a small container, 1 pint.

Servings per container - 4

In one serving:
Saturated Fat - 5 grams, 25% of daily.
Cholesterol - 70mg, 23% daily.

So, I drink one pint, 16 oz, and I'm done for the day for the above.

tisk tisk my egg nog is the best you will ever drink!

10 eggs seperated
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 quart half/half
1 1/2 quarts heavy cream
2 cups bourbon
1 cup dark rum
1 cup cognac
Freshly grated nutmeg

In stand up mixer w/ whisk attachment beat egg yolks until thick and pale yellow (about 3-4 minutes on medium high) Gradually add 1 cup of sugar to yolks. Slowly pour in half/half and 1 quart of the cream. Then slowly add bourbon, rum, and cognac, until completely combined. This is the base and can be refrigerated the night before serving.

Just before serving beat your egg whites until stiff peaks. Set aside in another bowl. Then beat remaining cream and sugar until stiff. Slowly mix egg whites and cream together. Fold the mixture into the egg nog base. grate fresh nutmeg over the top. Enjoy~

Just came from there. Got the PA Dutch. Its pretty good. Wish I had seen your thread first. But, I'm enjoying what I have. After Christmas shopping all day I am ready for some form of adult beverage.

I feel your pain, i just bought my last gift last night. Now for the wrapping, which I started when I got home, accompanied by a nice red wine and Christmas music. Definitly will require more wine to finish wrapping tonite.
