I am worried because it was the whole plastic wrapper with the metal crimped ends. That's alot of plastic!

My sister's dog ate (and crapped out) everything...razors, crayons. The funny one was a pair of panty hose. She saved them and took them to the vet because she thought he'd crapped out part of his intestine.

Keep a close on on those doggies. I have a friend who almost lost his Golden after he ate a VHS tape. Dog actually died on the way to the vet. He's ok now. Can you be with them for the next 24hrs?

Yes. He is a sneaky little thing, and I have to keep all chocolate out of his reach, otherwise he just swipes it. He was in the bedroom and I thought he was asleep (it was like 11 at night), so I set the cupcakes on the counter to cool. He strolled out of the bedroom and ate all but one, then sat in front of the oven waiting for the next dozen.

: My friends Rottweiler did that when we were high schoolers. She had to put on a rubber glove and pull on it. He was so embarrassed.

My Black Lab, Star, loves plastic. Scrub brushes, toys, and plastic bags. Vet said plastic is made w/ a sugar derivative, so I guess maybe it's tasty to them. :shrug:

I was advised by our vet to feed her plain generic bran flakes mixed in w/ her regular food to bulk her up and help push everything along. It's always worked.

Thank you, Barbra. I don't have any bran here, but I can pick some up tomorrow.

I spoke with the vet and he said to do nothing tillThursday, unless I see one of the dogs acting sick. He said if there is vomiting or pain, to get the dog to the vet ASAP. (Which is a no brainer)
If I don't see a sick dog, (by Thursday) to offer vegetable oil, or peanut butter....but no more than a tablespoon at a time. Wait till the next BM then offer another tablespoon.

We scooped more poop, but no plastic wrapper yet.

Star tends to eat plastic when she has an upset stomach. I don't know why. She once ate 3/4 of a black garbage bag. Another time she ate a bag from the Verizon store. She also ate a plastic bathtub scrub brush she found out in the garage. That came out in decorative blue and white spiky poops. Gak.

The wrapper will end up coming out one end or the other. Give it time.

Is Star related to PT's Miss Daisy? Sounds like the same cravings.
