Woody is a Labradoodle.

He just :barf: on the way out the door. That's the first sign. It was all chewed up dog food though. No plastic. I wish I knew for 100% sure if it was Woody or Jake.

:barf: Not Good,But eating , drinking and acting ok are - all the vets I worked with always said give them canned pumpkin(barf again) regular not the pie kind: very high in fiber.Or hydrogen peroxide, then make them run around, to induce vomitting immediately.
Usually takes 18 hours for something to go through their digestive system.
Did your vet say anything about checking their gum color?
Really hope they are both OK

I hope they are ok too. My lab went through something similiar when he was a little younger. He decided to eat a whole bag of indiviually wrapped snack sized easter snickers bars. He turned out ok, he was just pooping pastel snickers for a few days. His body was not able to break down the plastic wrapper and since Tobey rarely chews anything besides dog food, the chocolate never actually got into his body. My sisters min pin wasnt as lucky when he got a hold of a box of godiva. We had to give him the hydrogen peroxide.

You should be looking at their gum color to check and make sure the gums arent going pale. This can be a sign of shock as well as a few other things.

I also forgot to add that it can be a sign of internal bleeding, particularly if the metal clamp has cut up the insides at all. Hope that helps a little.

You guys are so awesomme! Thanks to everyone for all your help.
I will continue to keep an eye on him.
He only :barf: that one time last night. He seems perfectly fine. There is nothing different about him. He still plays as usual. I just wish that plastic would come the hell outta there!

Had a cat who would eat tinsel off the Christmas tree on a regular basis. She'd come flying out of the litter box with it hanging out her butt thinking it was something attacking her!!! She'd turn around to get it, it would move, and she'd take off again. Didn't use tinsel after that year - it didn't seem to do any damage to her but I was tired of helping her get rid of it. She was the same cat who swallowed a sewing thread that had a needle still attached! Got stuck in the back of her mouth, thankfully she didn't get it all the way down, but still had to take her to the vet to have it removed. Hope your trials pass soon!

:howdy:

Well, I hate to dig this shi+ up again, but since both the boys are fine, happy seemingly normal dogs, would it be safe to assume that which-ever one ate it, crapped it out by now?
I have checked poop piles, but not every day. We also have buzzards that come into the yard and eat the poop. (I think they are, anyway)
So I must have missed it.
What do ya'll say?
