TDS...right in front of me...
Staying with a good relative. Here he is watching CNN and the newsbot tries to bring every topic back to Trumps' criminality, his support for Russia, His efforts to lead the insurrection, his delays for trials, ....and when the commercials come on...
He begins rephrasing quotes, talking about how Trump will "burn down the country" if he loses...
I am incredulous...I heard the same biased reporting...and in front of me he drifted into pure fantasy...

Is this a common pattern with our TDS suffering colleagues, family members and neighbors? They hear one actual quote and instantly misinterpret it? (Typically tinged with fear of the destruction that will soon follow of either a a Trump win or loss.)

I will make no effort to actually correct the misquote, nor actually present the context of the original statement/sentiment. Not worth the effort.

It is a common problem with those suffering from TDS.
It's like brain damage. The have this shadow over their brain. They see, they hear,, but their minds cannot handle the truth.
They keep believing the Russian Hoax , they are too stupid to figure out that Russia and Ukraine were not fighting a war that we are paying for.
If tTump was speaking to Russia at least people were not dying. Why is it against their minds for Russia to be at Peace.
They watch the Iranians responsible for the rockets fired in the Red sea by the Houthi's and Israel taking missile fire from Lebanon Hezbollah, and Hamas coming out of their rat tunnels to murder and destroy. All instigated by Iran and they watch as Biden send Iran Billions of Dollars and release them from sanctions and yet they like Biden and hate Trump.

You cannot speak to them, they do not listen, they are brain dead.

Will the 2024 Election Get Lost in the Mail?

In the absence of an extremely unlikely recovery of public confidence in the President and the Democrats, the voters will attempt to return the White House and the Senate to the Republicans in November. As to the presidency, Trump is the beneficiary of an accelerating collapse in the traditional Democratic coalition that rested on a foundation of white working class and minority voters. And there aren’t enough “highly-educated” voters to prop up this crumbling edifice. With regard to the Senate, the Democrats face a brutal map this year. Of the 33 seats up for election, 23 are held by Democrats. Even worse, several of these are in states that Trump won by double digits in 2016 and 2020.

In pre-COVID America, it was possible to look at such data and predict a good Republican year with a reasonable amount of confidence. Indeed, a recent CNN report conceded that Trump could win the White House back even if he loses Arizona, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. Unfortunately, most of the swing states that will decide the presidential and Senate elections are governed by Democrats who have unequivocally embraced mail-in voting and ballot harvesting. This means millions of votes counted in 2024 will have ostensibly been cast by people who never go anywhere near a traditional polling place. Moreover, these votes will be transported by entities that have little incentive and less ability to keep them secure.

Sadly, this includes the U. S. Postal Service (USPS). Most Americans have long since stopped paying bills through the mail and, last year, the USPS itself issued a warning against mailing checks, according to a story in the Washington Post: “Mail theft is surging, the U.S. Postal Service reports, and federal regulators have warned banks and other financial institutions of rising check fraud.” Yet we are expected to believe that voting by mail is safe. Indeed, the Post has published countless op-eds encouraging its readers to ignore warnings from election integrity experts about the lack of security associated with mail-in ballots. As recently as last week, however, the USPS issued this less than reassuring update on its main security initiative:

Today, the U.S Postal Service (USPS) and U.S. Postal Inspection Service (USPIS) announced an update on Project Safe Delivery, a joint initiative to protect postal employees and secure the nation’s mail and packages … Customers are encouraged to report stolen mail as soon as possible by submitting an online complaint to the Postal Inspection Service at www.uspis.gov/report or calling 877-876-2455. Additionally, individuals are encouraged to report allegations of Postal Service employee misconduct, including attempts to corrupt a Postal Service employee, to the USPS OIG at 1-888-877-7644 or www.uspsoig.gov.

It’s The Perfect Storm: Drivers Licenses for Illegals + Noncitizens Voting + Mail-in Ballots + Private Funding of Elections + Partisan Hack SOSs

Why the euphemism?

Words matter. The phrase, illegal alien, speaks for itself. No one of sound mind would think that illegal aliens should vote in our elections. Undocumented immigrants well, an apolitical person might falsely assume undocumented immigrants are simply missing some papers. We all can relate to being held hostage by some puffed-up bureaucrat demanding useless paperwork. (Try opening a U.S. Post Office box if you’re unfamiliar with this blood-pressure-spiking sensation.)

It’s about money, power…and ballots.

Vivek Ramaswamy attributed the law-breaking to a deliberate and coordinated effort to change the electorate to win elections. During a March 7 interview with Laura Ingraham at Fox News, the former presidential candidate said,

“In principle, election integrity, voter ID at the ballot box, and the issue of illegal immigration or border security are two separate issues. But what is remarkable is that the very people who favor porous borders or poor border security are also the ones who favor lowered requirements for voting.”

Vivek pointed out, “Election integrity and illegal immigration have become intertwined” and are “intimately linked….It’s also a long-run play….No one voted for this.”

“A nation without borders is not a nation,” Ramaswamy said. “Most people agree on that. It’s up to us to step up and make that our vision.”

The survey, conducted by McLaughlin and Associates, revealed that most respondents believe Biden is using the government against Trump through the justice system to skew the outcome of the upcoming presidential election. Interestingly enough, it is not only Republicans who have this perspective – Democrats and Independents also see through the scam.

In the latest McLaughlin and Associates survey shared with Secrets on Wednesday, 56% said they believe that “Joe Biden wants to stop President Trump from winning the election by putting him in jail.” Some 30% disagreed.
Republicans, 86% to 8%, agreed, as did independent voters, 50% to 33%. But so did many Democrats — 32% agreed to 48% who didn’t.
What’s more, voters said they believe Biden is playing a key role in driving the investigations of his rival. Some 58% said Biden has a role. Of that, 40% called his role “major.”

These findings, if accurate, aren’t a positive sign for Team Biden. They suggest a growing cynicism and disillusionment with President Biden’s governance. But even further, this survey shows that most Americans believe the president, along with his cronies at the federal and state levels of government, is actively engaged in a wholesale effort to imprison a political opponent to boost Biden’s chances of winning reelection.

If this is the case, the 91 charges stretched out over numerous indictments might just backfire on Democrats in November – especially with independents, a voting bloc that Biden is struggling to win over.

A new poll conducted by the Center Square and released Wednesday shows that about 55 percent of the electorate disapproves of the president’s performance so far. But among independents, only 32 percent approve of the job Biden is doing, while 60 percent disapprove.
Even worse for Democrats, the poll also shows that if Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Cornel West, and Jill Stein remain in the race, a significant chunk of independents would veer away from supporting the president.

Biden Is Building a ‘Superstructure’ to Stop Trump From Stealing the Election

Trump and his MAGA allies have been working for years to pre-rig the 2024 election. Here’s how Team Biden is planning to fight them

For years, Donald Trump has made it abundantly clear that if he doesn’t win the 2024 presidential election, he is willing to cheat and steal it. Since President Joe Biden’s inaugural address, according to sources with intimate knowledge of the situation, Biden and his inner circle have been drawing up meticulous plans and creating a large legal network focused on wargaming a close election finish, in which the former president and Republican Party launch a scorched-earth, Big Liefueled crusade.

Long before Trump began leading in battleground-state polling — and years before he was a declared 2024 candidate — the ex-president and many of his influential allies were already busy plotting ways to tilt the election in his favor. These yearslong efforts, conducted both secretly and out in the open, have already yielded tangible results for Trump and the conservative election denier movement. These wide-ranging operations have alarmed the Democratic Party elite, who aren’t just worried about Biden’s sagging poll numbers. Numerous Democratic lawmakers, operatives, Biden campaign advisers, and administration officials tell Rolling Stone that if the president does ultimately beat Trump this November, the election will be exceedingly close.

Over the past year, Team Biden has been conducting war games, crafting complex legal strategies, and devoting extensive resources to prepare for, as one former senior Biden administration official puts it, “all-hell-breaks-loose” scenarios. The preparations include planning for a contingency in which Biden’s margin of victory is so razor-thin that Trump and the GOP launch a tidal wave of legal challenges and political maneuvers to rerun his 2020 election strategy: declare victory anyways, and try to will it into existence.

“President Biden has been worried, for a while now, that Donald Trump is going to try to steal the election, if it’s very close on Election Day,” says a source familiar with Biden’s thinking. “If that ends up being the case, we are… also expecting the Republican Party to go into overdrive to help him steal it. We are continuing to build out the infrastructure to ensure that doesn’t happen — again — if President Biden wins and Trump and MAGA Republicans try to confuse [everyone] and sow chaos.”

Why Biden Is Bleeding Non-White Voters

For decades, the Democrats have depended on the overwhelming support of minority voters to keep their party electorally viable. Even when they nominated candidates with spotty civil rights records, like Joe Biden, the Democrats could count on at least 90 percent of the Black vote and about 70 percent of the Latino vote. Now, however, polls suggest that neither the President nor his party can take these votes for granted. The latest New York Times/Siena College poll, for example, found that Biden’s lead over former President Trump among non-white working class voters has plummeted to 6 points (47-41). In 2020, Biden led Trump by nearly 50 points among these voters.

The New York Times/Siena College poll is no outlier. A Gallup poll released in February also found a sharp decline in the advantage Democrats once enjoyed among minorities, including a 20 percent drop in Black support in just three years. Likewise, a USA Today/Suffolk University poll released in January found that the percentage of Black voters who support Biden has fallen from 87 percent in 2020 to only 63 percent. Biden’s Latino support collapsed from 65 to 34 percent. These polls and several others with similar findings prompted John Burn-Murdoch, the chief data reporter at The Financial Times, to do a deep dive into the underlying information. His assessment of the data and the accompanying chart bode ill for Biden’s chances in November:

RealighnmentFT1.jpg

Predictably, Burn-Murdoch’s realignment claim has received a lot of pushback from Democrats and the corporate media. The most common objection involves polling error, but he emphasizes that his conclusion wasn’t reached by looking at a single survey: “America’s gold-standard national election surveys show a similarly sharp decline, with non-white proximity to Democrats now at its lowest since the 1960s.” Another complaint about the realignment theory involves the claim that it is premature. Over the weekend, this objection was echoed by Nate Cohn in the New York Times. Evidently assuming that Burn-Murdoch based his analysis solely on the Gray Lady’s poll, Cohn pounded out this peevish critique:

This claim strikes me as, at best, premature. The general election campaign is barely underway, and poll results in February do not constitute realignment. As we have written several times: No one should be remotely surprised if Mr. Biden ultimately reassembles his support among Black and Latino voters. Alternately, many of the dissenting voters may simply stay home, as they did in the midterms. This would be bad for Mr. Biden … But even in the worst case for Democrats, Mr. Biden would probably still win among Black, Hispanic and Asian American voters.

The racial realignment is a humiliation for white liberals

Numerous polls signal the shift. The latest New York Times/Siena poll shows Trump not merely closing the gap with Hispanic voters, but running ahead of President Joe Biden with Hispanics by 6 points. A recent Reuters/Ipsos poll also found Trump in the lead with Hispanics by a single point, while a new poll by the American Principles Project found Trump and Biden running even with Hispanics in swing states.

This is, of course, the same Trump who white liberals compared to Hitler for proposing a southern border wall and using the term “bad hombres” during a 2016 presidential debate. And yet, in the preceding years, Hispanic voters have shifted meaningfully toward Trump. He lost the Hispanic vote by 36 points in 2016, but he cut the deficit to 21% in 2020. And if recent polls that show an even split between Trump and Biden are even close to correct, the turnaround will rank as among the most consequential political storylines of the century.

Black voters also appear to be trending toward Trump. Recent data released by Gallup show that the percentage of black voters who self-identify as Republicans is at the highest level this century. While still only at 19%, the number is vastly improved from Trump’s 2016 vote share, which saw him take only 6% of the black vote nationally. Again, if this trend is even close to correct, Trump will win the presidency handily in November.

Given the constant accusations of racism Trump has drawn since appearing on the national stage, in addition to the Left’s extravagant commitment to radical racial politics such as Ibram X. Kendi’s vision of “antiracism,” it is impossible to overstate how humiliating these surveys are. White liberals have somehow managed to repel the very people with whom they desperately sought allegiance.

Some may be quick to credit Trump for successfully expanding the demographic tent of the Republican Party — and in truth, it’s impossible to argue otherwise. However, Democrats deserve the lion’s share of credit for driving away their own base. Their governing record on topics of importance to minority communities is abysmal. Indeed, black and Hispanic families have suffered from school closures, skyrocketing food costs, and open borders that have resulted in cities being flooded with undocumented immigrants. These voters are also concerned by the increasingly radical positions championed by white liberals on matters of sex and gender, particularly in relation to education. And they are turned off by the constant demonization of religion and traditional values, since they are more likely to attend weekly religious services than their white counterparts.

Mississippi Secretary of State Michael Watson wrote to U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland on March 6 alleging that agencies under the attorney general’s charge are “attempting to register people to vote, including potentially ineligible felons, and to co-opt state and local officials into accomplishing this goal.”

The allegation relates to President Joe Biden’s Executive Order 14019, which states, “The head of each agency shall evaluate ways in which the agency can, as appropriate and consistent with applicable law, promote voter registration and voter participation.”
Among other things, this order has forced U.S. Marshals to modify more than 900 contracts with prisons and jails to provide voter registration documents and facilitate mail-in voting for inmates, Mr. Watson wrote.

“We have worked extremely hard to restore the confidence of Mississippi voters in our election process,” Mr. Watson told The Epoch Times. “To have the Biden administration and the DOJ purposefully undermine these efforts and jeopardize the integrity of Mississippi’s elections is unacceptable.”

The secretary of state is the chief election officer in Mississippi.

YouTube Potentially Signals Continued Commitment to Censorship Ahead of 2024 Elections

As reported by Reclaim The Net on Thursday, YouTube has released a new video on its blog discussing its four new areas of focus with its new chief product officer, Johanna Voolich.

During the interview, published on Wednesday, Voolich noted that “responsibility” is one of the three areas she focuses on when developing products. She said, “We want to do this in a way to make sure that YouTube is a responsible actor in society.”

Voolich’s remarks raise some serious questions about what the policy creators and moderators at YouTube believe being a responsible actor would look like, particularly in the lead-up to a presidential election. YouTube has defined what the term means for its policies in the past, Reclaim The Net reported.

According to a blog published on Sept. 3, 2019, YouTube has 4R’s of responsibility:

“1. Remove content that violates our policy as quickly as possible.

[ Blocking the Truth or non approved information - See Covid Response or Climate Change or Election Results ]

2. Raise up authoritative voices when people are looking for breaking news and information.

[Signal boosting Media Outlets like FAKE NEWS LIKE CNN over a non A Voice ]

3. Reward trusted, eligible creators and artists.

[ If you tout the ' party line or narrative ' You Are Reward With Views and Advertising Dollars - See Covid Response or Climate Change or Election Results ]

4. Reduce the spread of content that brushes right up against our policy line.”

[ Blocking the Truth or non approved information - See Covid Response or Climate Change or Election Results ]

To some, this signals that YouTube’s policies advocate for censorship and that suppression of alternate views on the platform will likely continue or even escalate in this election year.

Vice President of Free Speech America Dan Schneider believes this to be the case.

“The closer we get to the November elections, the more censorship and propagandizing we are going to see out of YouTube and Google,” Schneider commented. “We’ve predicted it, we know it, and we’re gonna see more of it.”

YouTube’s parent company Google has also come under fire over the issue of censorship and election interference. A March 18 report by the MRC Free Speech America revealed 41 instances of Google using its gigantic influence and algorithms to influence elections to boost its preferred candidates and suppress unfavorable candidates.
