Electric Car News

Apparently it still works. Yesterday there was a single Tesla at the charging stations and they chose to use the busted one. Probably so they could have something to talk about instead of not owning a TV or being a vegan.
Yeah, they most likely don't want to discuss Tesla's stock performance at the moment.

Even the Eurotards are getting their fill.

Electric Vehicle Sales Plunge Across Europe as Demand Stalls

Electric vehicle (EV) sales plunged across Europe in March as demand dried up despite the E.U.’s push to ban petrol and diesel vehicles by the middle of the next decade.

The Daily Telegraph reports sales of battery-powered cars dropped by 11.3 percent as demand in Germany, Europe’s largest economy, plunged by 28.9 percent, according to the European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (ACEA).

Only 13 percent of new registrations were electric, down from 13.9 percent in March last year and down from 14.6 percent for all of 2023, continuing a long-term trend, as Breitbart News reported.

You can only make money for so long on in a niche market.

Glad to see Musk looking at other avenues.

The Climate Cult is only good for an initial infusion of money before they move on to another religious icon.

Next stop on the Global Warming Tourbus.... Solar 747s.

Considering the overall state of the US right now I can understand why Musk wants to go to Mars.

Stuff like this can't happen if electric car companies want to sell vehicles.

they may be seeing the end of this nutty push and just want to grab the fast dollars while they still can.

“We sold the last of our stock off the warehouse floor… We’re out of business. Sorry, no more #Warranty service.”

Lets not confuse the actions of one service center employee for the company. And it was made right. If you think stuff like this doesn't happen to every other new model under the sun, you are mistaken. Is it right that his new truck started leaking coolant that soon? Of course not. Most people getting thirs care quite happy with them. But "Tesla bad" leads, so the magnifying glass is large. Like the idiots hurting themselves with the frunk closing. Thats pure click hunting.

Just 14 hours after the ordeal started, @jonejason64 tweeted an update saying that Tesla “went above and beyond to fix my truck today and get it back to me this afternoon.” He even says they finally detailed the truck.

That's the problem, they have a terrible infrastructure for dealers/repair and seemingly have no direction. There are only a handful of Tesla service centers so a single bad one is a much higher percentage of the total than say a poor Ford dealer.

Also the lack of a dealer network means they are all corporate Tesla, that in itself should guarantee the exact same experience for everyone no matter where they are, same training same message etc. It should be a strength in cases like these, but it seems they are less consistent than a bunch of independently owned dealers.

Maybe it's me, but Musk seems to be a flake in the direction of the company.
