You are 100% correct. She's in it for the $$. I don't agree with that at all but at least the kid will have a normal (ha ha) mom vs. a gay old man for a parent.
This kid may sit next to Eltons in the therapist office. :lol:

I'd vote for Elton's being more normal and having better values in life. :yay: But I'm of the belief that gays are able to rear a child just fine. The gay part IMO has nothing to do with it. Being a productive member of society, emotionally stable, being able to love and care for a child, etc. is much more important.

I think I'd probably dislike being born to an old gay couple (but then again, if I were I wouldn't still be me, so I really have no clue what the other me would or wouldn't like :lol:). That said, I know I'd dislike being born to a young straight couple that didn't obviously love each other truly, deeply, and with all their hearts. Given the choice, I'd choose the former.

To this day, a question as to how sincerely and passionately my parents loved each has never entered my mind. That's a gift worth more to me than most anything, and one I no longer take for granted. I suppose I'm also glad that I can look at a picture of them and say that one's Mom and that one's Dad, but I'd trade that away in return for the sense that I always had that they loved each other, and I wouldn't think 3 seconds more about it.

Why would this boy not care for Elton (and David) as much as you, or anyone else, care for your mother and father? Elton might pass away within the next few years, or he might live another twenty, but I expect he will learn that Elton is his dad just as any "normal" kid would.

I always thought that 'designer' label was meant for babies who were somehow genetically-altered. Do you mean it in the sense that Elton and David had the baby as a show item instead of because they love one another?
