"Historically, people ride when it's nice, they don't ride when chilly," Sgt. Ennis said.

Are they talking about those LED strip engine lights that I wanted to get for my bike last year?

I THINK they are talking about the lights that ABATE has been fighting to get, but I could be wrong since I never go to their meetings.

So what does a bike covered completely in fairings have to have? Just curious. Been out of the bike scene for a few years after 20 some odd years of riding.

Head light, tail light and turn signals.

The new law allows aux lights that mount above the engine and look spiffy

Pookieboo!!!
At least this law is for a good reason. I don't see how drivers can't hear a motorcycle next to them though.

Hey APS, have you seen any ads for the lighting equivalent of the 130 dB horns? I'm thinking high power halogen spotlights all around. Hmmm, might have to change out the alternator too....

The bill will be passed on to Governor Martin O'Malley for signing on June 1.
O'Malley won't sign it. It doesn't raise any taxes or let him spend more money on useless :bs:.

I got $10: This will have NO effect on the number of motorcycle accidents or fatalities.

Glad I'm not a member of ABATE, I'd be pissed they wasted the time and resources to fight for this.
