Why is that? Because you don't know what in the hell you are talking about? I've known Joyce and a majority of the employees there for years. I know for a fact that she does own Mattie's. What in the hell is your point?

The business. She may pay rent on the property but she still owns the damn business.

You are correct in that the stock, business license, liquer license etc is her's. I would liken it to this when you go to lets say Lighthouse Liquers someone owns and operates that business even though the business owner pays rent to the property holder to lease the location.

I know how it works. Up until a few months ago my bestest guyfriend owned a liquor store. Well, he owned the business, the name, licenses, goods for sale, just not the building. It still made him the business owner. So, what is Crotchity Cranky's point?

i heard st james is turning into a sheets?? guess theere is to far to many rumors going around. i hope this build does go through!! be good for me, i live not even 1/2 mile away.. now will st james pub be moving along with the deli??

i am sure they will make money, the area south of the base is getting popular. and my development(st james) is expected to have 300+ houses. so the area will definately be able to support sheets, or wawa. being there.

You have got to be kidding about the WaWa/Sheetz rumor?:yikes: That would pretty much sew up that area for Tony Baden as far as off premise alcohol sales.
