Wow
That sounds high. I dumped waste management, so sorry I can't answer. I also paid on an annual basis, and I don't recall seeing a breakdown of fees
Dumped WM also, seems they had the market cornered pretty good for a while.

Sorry to respond on an older thread, but I am curious and see no one commented on the Evergreen fees. We have Waste Management and speaking with a few others in our neighborhood when the Evergreen guy came door to door... I realize each have a monthly fee for a twice a week pickup (with a canister) paid quarterly... but when you get the actual Evergreen bill, what are the additional fees and how much? Fees I see on WM are fuel/environment fee, regulatory fees, or other admin fees? These fees could make that quarterly bill about the same. My quarterly WM bill is around $158.
Happy Friday everyone.
Does anyone out there use Evergreen Disposal for trash pick-up service? I currently use Waste Mgmt and I think I'm paying twice as much as other services and I only get one pick-up per week. Evergreen offered me two pick-ups per week for almost half of what I'm paying.
If not Evergreen, any other recommendations?
Thanks.
I visited their website, after the gent came by the neighborhood. The quoted price is word-of-mouth (for me $75/3-mos.). Their website does not quote any prices, The cost is probably different for different areas since county landfills charge different tipping charges to empty the trash into the landfilleven on the webpage where you are encouraged to sign up... I also noted that the "contact data" webpage listed only a Post Office Box, and NO street addressThis is probably because the address and phone number changed but the webmaster for their pages is slow updating information. (it happens)... If you look into other "yellow-pages style" websites you'll notice that the PO Boxes and the phone numbers have changed - even in the same time periodSee previous comment.... They claim to serve both Southern Maryland and Virginia counties. The maps posted on their website show only Charles and St. Mary's Counties (none in Virginia)See previous comment in reference to the comment before that..
I'd be very careful of companies which claim "2 generations" of experience, have no permanent address, and change phone numbers.Good! I don't want your trash crowding out my trash.
Better Business Bureau ratings of "A" is not a good indicator, since the ratings come from businesses themselves (either the business being rated or colleages). You need to know how many voted for them and who those voters were - don't get caught in the "American Idol" syndrome, where someone can "stuff the ballot box" by calling in innumerable times. You're a Democrat, aren't you?
Buyer beware!
This guy came to my house today and would not take no for an answer. How awkward. And it is creepy when a guy you don't know comes up to your house during the day. Do not like.![]()
