Instead of sand tires, you need to get really good radial tires with good sidewall ply. The reason is that when you hit the beach, you air down the tires to about 10 lbs. You'll glide over the top of the sand. Sand tires are soft and get punctures very easily. Good radials don't.
99% of the people that get stuck in sand didn't air down.
