*Rookie
I'm effin' ecstatic about Jeremy Mayfield and AJ Allmendinger making the field.
Glad for Riggs, to.
Mayfield has talent but his mouth's never helped him get anywhere. Evernham never should've dumped him for Sadler. Mayfield would've been running strong if Ray didn't have his 2nd head stuck up Erin's
AJ Allmendinger - I just can't say enough. When he came in to the series at first, I didn't like him. Just another open wheeler
. But he's come a long way. Good runs last year. Winning the Open at Charlotte. He was a lot of fun to watch during the 24 Hours at Daytona sports car race driving like a little demon. I hope Allmendinger secures sponsorship to run the full season.
Regan Smith crossed the line first at Talladega only for NASCAR to rob him so Tony could get one last win for his team. I've felt bad for him ever since.
But how ironic is it that Tony Stewart's 2nd place finish in the first Duel locked Regan Smith in to the field?
Smith said he was a Smoke fan after that.
Ryan Newman's interview - classic. "Reutimann's an appropriatte name for him, root-a-man out of the way"
