Fantasy Challenge: The big dance - DAYTONA 500

I'm effin' ecstatic about Jeremy Mayfield and AJ Allmendinger making the field. :yahoo:

Glad for Riggs, to. :yay:

Mayfield has talent but his mouth's never helped him get anywhere. Evernham never should've dumped him for Sadler. Mayfield would've been running strong if Ray didn't have his 2nd head stuck up Erin's :jet:

AJ Allmendinger - I just can't say enough. When he came in to the series at first, I didn't like him. Just another open wheeler :blahblah::blahblah:. But he's come a long way. Good runs last year. Winning the Open at Charlotte. He was a lot of fun to watch during the 24 Hours at Daytona sports car race driving like a little demon. I hope Allmendinger secures sponsorship to run the full season. :yay:

Regan Smith crossed the line first at Talladega only for NASCAR to rob him so Tony could get one last win for his team. I've felt bad for him ever since.

But how ironic is it that Tony Stewart's 2nd place finish in the first Duel locked Regan Smith in to the field? Smith said he was a Smoke fan after that. :killingme

Ryan Newman's interview - classic. "Reutimann's an appropriatte name for him, root-a-man out of the way" :killingme

Did you hear someone on the radio after Newman's wreck say "We're gonna need another car Tony..." :killingme

I've always liked Almendinger. He's fun to watch.

2pm is when the eating/drinking starts. :yay:

It sure is nice though having quality coverage from FOX and SPEED :yay: compared to the dreadful terrible awful ESPN coverage we're stuck with most of the season.

I'm gonna kirk if I tune in to another race and have to sit through 40 minutes of boring stick and ball sports :cds:

They didn't break from the game because ESPN already knew that drag racing was effed by the rain.

BTW - U of MD women play Rutgers Sunday at 1. Make sure you tune in for that one instead of that stoopid pre-race crap. :yay:

How often does ESPN cut away from NASCAR the second the checkerd flag waves or before the checkerd flag waves (Phoenix) without postrace coverage or anyything on any of their networks even if the race is over before the allotted timeslot?

But they had no problem spending the time to interview every single player on the Rutgers Nappyheadedhos basketball team.

They have alternate channels... and they've never had any problem moving the end of a NASCAR race over to ESPN Classic with 15 to go so they could cover the Middle SChool Indoor Volleyball National Championship. :duh:

Well...middle school indoor volleyball deserves SOME airtime. :smack:

And what were you gonna watch in Pomona? Raindrops? They had interviewed every possible person on Saturday and Sunday.

ESPN could always fill some of their coverage showing the pro-mod and top-alcohol ET races. :drama:

I don't even give a damn about the points, I will be ####in' ecstatic if Mark Martin wins this race. That would truly be something. :dye:
