I don't think so.
I'm talking about this. I'm pretty sure you can put them in pretty early.
I just posted a link to a picture of one. I think you're thinking of something different.
Maybe she means the little bouncy/vibrating seat..similar to the infant seats of days gone by. My little grandkids loved them ...from the time they came home from the hospital. They weren't able to use it for very long.
I actually think that's what the earlier suggestion of a "Boppy" is.
Yep. It allowed me hands free of baby, but baby still in sight and part of whatever I was doing.
The one that came to mind was the chair you hang from a doorway...definitely not fitted for a newborn.
I was thinking of the bouncy swing.
I had one of those trash cans with a lid that would open when I hit a lever with my foot. It allowed me to keep the stinkies in a sealed container and remain hands-off the trashcan until I switched out the bag.Of all the baby items I got, I thought the diaper genie was a huge PITA to use and was the first item I found useless. Some people love 'em, me, I always poked my finger somehow, someway in the diaper shoving it in the hole.
You would stick an infant in a bouncy chair?

true infant seat/carrier when little Horatio is past the newborn stage.
It's part of the new-fangled car seat...just snap the carrier in and out.

Is that right? Shows how long it's been since I've dealt with infants. Okay, well that's cool - two gizmos in one.
A boppy is a must have my baby practically lived in that thing for the first 6 months.
