Had the same problem with mine last year. My mechanic fixed it. If she needs a fix, hook her up with me and I will check to see if he will fix it for her.

It was a 5 minute job in the IHOP parking lot after breakfast

I am currently riding a HD dyna low rider, 1450cc, got her four years ago. Sweet...gonna do the tail of the dragon in a few weeks.....353 turns in 11 mile stretch...one of the reasons I love NC, did Mt. Mitchel last year and Mt. Pilot. I think I am an adrenalin (sp) junkie!

DO NOT try and keep up with traffic, ride your ride
Some of the corners will load your suspension
and the dragon is in TN

For those who don't know, the Tail of the Dragon at Deals Gap in Tennessee is one of, if not the greatest, driving roads in the world. Containing 318 curves in an 11-mile stretch, the Tail is visited by both car enthusiasts and motor cyclists from all over the globe. While it brings a healthy amount of tourist dollars to the region, the curvy two-lane road that runs on US-129 has effectively been shut down by an overbearing Tennessee Highway Patrol.

The Deals Gap resort is in NC, about 100 yards from the TN line and the Dragon which is in TN

Went down the Blue Ridge Parkway to get there last year. Great on a weekday, but the BRP sucks on a weekend

I wanna be a SMIB
I have a Yamaha V Star 650...getting to be too slow for me. DR has the 1100. I am encouraging him to buy a new bike, then I'll take his. His is much better than the 650 I have. We have a boat that needs a new engine in the driveway. There is NO way we're getting new engine soon for that. Too much $.

you must really know how to ride, I kinda know how to ride but never on a public road

I have been riding for 10 years; have always rode Triumphs. I currently have a 900 legend; that is still not running :frown:

There is nothing better than a long ride with good friends :huggy:
