My cat was a feral kitten. Caught with her momma and littermates living in an abondoned car in someone's back yard. The mother was put down and all the kittens adopted out. She was about 8 weeks old when I got her. She was downright nasty at first but 6 years later you'd never know.

Dr. Phil had this lady on yesterday who had 80 some cats she'd rescued living in her house. She finally let some people from a no-kill shelter come and get them. They were lined up in cages in the back of the van just meowing their little heads off. I bawled my eyes out. :bawl:

Ewww! Can you imagine how bad her house smelled of feces and urine? :barf:

:barf: is right. That's why she got rid of them - her teenage daughter was too mortified to have friends over. There were litter boxes under the dining room table!! But the poor little things were so upset when the people were trying to catch and cage them. :bawl: It still hurts my heart. :bawl: Ugh, and her sofa was freakin' disgusting. :barf: They took it outside and plucked about 10 cats out of it.

No toaster ovens. A long time ago on the boards there was this Feral Cat thread that got...hmmm....SLIGHTLY out of hand.

Mr. King I believed started the thread and it became quite the hot topic. Vrai resurrected part of it awhile back. VERY interesting reading. :lmao:

No I did not start the thread. Get your facts straight. I just offered the gentleman that did start it a couple of tips for ridding his property of the vermin. I have been biting my lip for a while on this one.
