My boss and office mate have 2006 Dodge's with the Cummins diesel - they are REALLY nice trucks... those engines are unbelievable after reading about the longevity of them.

2006's and '07's are really nice. '08's are keeping the service bays full. New emissions equipment on the '08's are causing hell with the intakes and turbos.

I tried finding an '06 or '07 Dodge, and there just aren't any. The few that I found, weren't exactly what I was looking for.

Truck I ordered finally came in, and although I officially cancelled it a month ago, 0% financing and Employee pricing is too good to pass up.

So I picked up the new Duramx yesterday.

2500HD, Crew Cab, Long Bed, 4x4, Duramax, power sunroof, power rear sliding window, dual zone climate control... DId I say yet?


I love it.

Oh yea. It's Red. BRIGHT Red. It's alot of red. Ya can't miss it.

Yea, that came into the equation. But those that know me, know that I don't give enough of a shiat about what other people think for that to be considered much.

27000 miles. 21 mph highway @70-75mph
14 city. 17 around here. (somd)


5 mph higher all the way around than I was getting with the '03powerjoke.

27000 miles in 2 years. Shoot, I do that in < 1 year. That truck should last you a good 20 years at that kind of milage.
