It looked to me like the second stage never ignited to separate from the first stage.

Second stage doesn't ignite til after sep.

Probably because they only had 5 engine failures and they made it up high enough to do the separation.

It never separated.

I said they made it high enough to separate, not that they did. And technically they did separate, just not into the correct number of pieces.

Damn thing seems endless. Note chunk of concrete on the right years the end. Stuff like that is what apparently ended three or more engines. That chunk is makye the size of a basketball or small beach ball.

The size of the chunks was amazing. And five of the raptor failures were on the same side of the outer ring. Likely due to debris damage.

Elon admits that they took shortcuts with the Stage 0 design. I'll be very interested to see what they come up with. I doubt they'll be ready to launch in a few months though.
