What about an old family name to carry on, like her maiden name? My daughter's middle name is after my Grandmother.

my parents chose my middle name because it was the first name of each of their grandmothers: Mary.

Since vrai hasn't responded yet, may I suggest Tyler Spiderman?

Now would that be "Spiderman" be pronounced "Spidermin" like Phil Spiderman.

Or "Spider-Man" like Spiderman?

Statistically speaking, I've heard that an extremely high percentage of violent criminals (murderers in particular) have the middle name of "Wayne". Something like 85%. Ok... I'm making up the number here, but the percentage IS extremely high...
My middle name is Wayne, same for my father. Be afraid, be very afraid!!!!

What is it with people nowadays and these ultra-trendy names? You walk into a daycare, and you feel like you're on the set of a soap opera...

Child A: "Lance touched me!"
Child B: "I did not, Skylare!"
Child C: "They touched me, too!"
Care Provider: "Tyler, Hunter, Lance...you leave Skylare and Isis alone!"

Seriously---what the hell kind of parent can call their five year old "Hunter" with a straight face?

There's something to be said for classic, time-tested names...someone mentioned using family names. Great idea.....but please--we don't need another "Diego" in the world...

how about Tyler Duwayne, that is my brothers middle name.
That reminds me of "Da plane! Da plane!" with that little short dude on Fantasy Island from years ago. He died, didn't he? Probably at the hands of some dude with the middle name of Wayne.

This is what most of my family does. Mine is Alison Springer, sister's is Emily Maquire and my mom's is Susan Barrett. There are also a few middle names like Stake, Sly, Thompson, Lee, etc...
