Laff out loud. Because that will never happen...ever. You live in a fantasy land the rest of us avoid visiting if we can.
The local farmer I buy my whole Angus steer from every year has doubled the size of his production herd in just the last couple of years, to try and keep up with demand. The Amish I buy my hog and several roasting pigs from every year..they'll never run low on animals. The lamb we buy every year comes from a 4H sale down in VA..never any shortage of those. Geese?..always take as many of those as I want from my offshore hunting blind. Same goes for ducks. Rabbit and quail...I get those cheap from my sis and bro-in-law down in southern VA. Life with good meat to eat has never been better. And then there is the venison too...

It's the natural progression of things. Like whoever said "if you're not liberal when you're young, you have no heart; if you're not conservative when you're older, you have no brain." Or something like that. Fun fact, though: apparently getting older and progressively more conservative means more anti-establishment. Nobody told me, because they did tell us: you don't talk about religion, politics, or money in polite company.
I joined the Libertarian party in 1976. At the core, I feel like I'm socially liberal, but fiscally conservative.
To the modern left, that puts me to the right of Hitler and to the left of DJT.
However, I also recognize that I'm no longer as socially liberal - to the point where I find myself asking myself "Self, was it even a good idea in the first place?"

The county I live in allowed DG to build two stores in our town of 5,100 people. It really hurt our locally owned small shops and the two locally owned grocery stores.
But back in our day "socially liberal" meant that people can be gay or black or women or whatever they are and nobody cares. It meant that people besides white males have rights and you can't treat them like crap and get away with it. It also meant that you don't see a BLACK! person or an ASIAN! person or a GAY! person - you just see a person. Abortion was the woman's own business and nobody else's.
Now that's not good enough. If you're not washing the feet of some black drug dealer pimp, you're a racist. If you don't let men pretending to be women watch your daughter undress or allow them to punch her in the face during a sporting event, you're a transphobe. If you don't actively celebrate abortion up to and even after birth and consider it the very most important right of women, you're a misogynist.
Treating people with respect and dignity until they show you they as a person don't deserve it is never a bad idea. But like everything the Democrats touch, it got screwed up and now privileged groups - blacks and the alphabet people specifically - are demanding special treatment for injustices that they never experienced. Ooooh, microaggressions! (translation: the sh*t we all put up with from aholes every day.) Oooh, my lived experience! (translation: sh*t they made up because they don't want to be left out of the victimhood.)
We were all getting along too well and thriving as a society, and Democrats just can't have that. If people aren't at each other's throats, they can't swoop in and "fix things". They're a one-note party and all they have is "righting wrongs", so if there aren't any wrongs they have to create them. Out of thin air. Their agenda doesn't sit well with anyone, so they have to cloak it and sugar coat it, disguise it and feed it to the bots like a mom hiding pureed cauliflower in the mac & cheese. Create a fake boogeyman and pump up the fear factor with lies and hysteria mongering. And humans are enthusiastic customers for the hysteria mongers, they always have been.
Democrats have done that throughout the history of their party - stir up hate and discontent. 150 years ago it was "black man gonna get your children," which lasted until the mid-70s. Then it was "Republicans gonna get your children." Now it's "Donald Trump gonna get your children." They are a destructive party and shouldn't be allowed to exist. They do nothing but stir up hate. They are the Party of Hate.
I picked up some of these last night to make Jambalaya. Just how hot is hot? My fiance won't eat hotdogs unless they're cooked over a campfire, but these I think I can convince her are "gourmet".
