Flood Warnings/Watches

The wind has been blowing out of the Southeast for about a week now and that is causing the tidal flooding.
Rain? We got a quarter of an inch, not much, but it came slow and did a lot of good.
I wore a sweatshirt yesterday and will probably wear it again today, Hard to believe it the 22nd of June.

Water hit 3.56' and 3.41' during last full cycle ending around 0600 this morning here on the island. That's just "nuisance flooding"....puts the road about 6" under in some places.

I thought it might be worse here at the Port, but it was nothing more than we normally get during these advisories. Standing water in low lying areas. Thankfully not bad.

About 1.4" over the last 48 hours. Not a ton, but soaking which is what we need right now.
