Five pages and we still don't know the story behind this. I've googled and can't find anything. I'm assuming (I know, not a good thing to do) that the County feels the flag would distract from the "beautiful"

I feel that it would be more appropriate to either let these businesses fly their American flag right next to or above the cake -- as with out that American Flag, there would be no 350th Birthday for Charles County.
There is your history lesson for today -- let's see who understands!!!!

I can't find anything about a lawsuit. WTF are you talking about?Could you start from the beginning? Who can't fly a flag? Who told them not to fly it? Why not? What litigation are you talking about?

Flag's back up and waving in all it's glory! Noticed it yesterday morning when driving to work, but forgot to post. Guess the "myth" of their being told not to fly it was "busted"? Anyway, it makes the pink cake a little easier to look at with Old Glory in the background.

Somebody posted in a different thread that the flag was out being repaired. That makes a whole lot more sense than whatever the idiot that started this thread was trying to imply.
