Anyone recently been to the Baltimore location? Care to offer up an opinion of their experience![]()
I went a few weeks ago. It was my first time there and it was a different experience. Overall, it was enjoyable but didn't leave me feeling wowed. I liked the ability to taste different things and the service was great.
I'm glad I did it but not sure I'd make it a point to go back.
Try everything that appeals to you. My only piece of advice is to not get overwhelmed and get a bunch of stuff all at once. Keep your card turned red while you're eating - if you don't, you may feel rushed.
I didn't care for the sausage, and probably thought the pork was the best - all of it was good. Not the best restaurant I've ever been to, but a lot of fun, something different and good food. Don't load up on the salad bar.
I visited the DC location. Good food, but not worth the price. Go to Lewnes in Annapolis. Muuuuuch better!
Lewnes and Fogo are not even comparable - two VERY different restaurants.
Fogo wows me. I was wowed just by their salad island. Then they started bringing around all that meat and it was like, good lord! BUT! I'm also not a "fine dining, dahling" type of person, and I like to try a bunch of different things instead of committing to one entree. Places like Charlie Palmer's and Lewnes are merely okay to me, but Fogo is where it's at.
So it depends on what you like.
Weird the other day when I checked DC said it was $60. I think we will do the DC one then. Closer is muy beunoB more is 3 less than DC. $48.5 and $51.50. The valet parking there was $10 and at DC it was 7. DC. was easier to get to as well.
I've never been, I'm not much of a "meat eater" but I'd love to try it since they have so many options and the 'sides bar' looks amazing!!!
That is what I was thinking too. I like meat but the salad options look amazing to me. Those little rolls look like theyre right up my alley too![]()
I am like that too. That is why I like cruising so much because I can sample as many dishes as I want eating a lot or just a taste.
We will give it a try, its on my restaurant bucket list!
I do have a question I am just wondering why the Baltimore location is $10 less per person...is there less items or something?
These are a just a few :What else is on your restaurant bucket list??![]()
