Sooo, if I were to get chocolate tonight to do this as a surprise...what would I pick up? :flowers:

For dipping or what type of chocolate?

I would do nutter butters :yum: (ya know the chocolate peanut butter thing is always delish!) pretzels (sweet salty thing) strawberries or pineapple, pound cake, stuff like that :yay:

Well if that is what you like go w/ that!

If it were me I would do a mixture of bitter sweet and semi sweet since the berries are sweet already

ahh, good idea.
so you're saying you just throw in a bunch of chocolate chips
That was my plan, so if that is way off, let me know now

one 11.5 oz bag of store brand milk chocolate chips
about 1/2-3/4 cup...maybe more, I eyeballed it  1% milk (just what we had )
Tasted great but I'd probably change it up and throw in another type of chocolate next time for even better flavor. Added the milk once the chips were soft, as I was stirring, stir until the milk is combined with the chocolate.

:yum:

Hello all. I was on planning on making Chocolate fondue tomorrow night for my in-laws for their anniversary. I SWEAR I thought I had a fondue set-but turns out we don't. What else can I use??? TIA!
Saw a lovely 1970 green fondue set at the thrift store in Charlotte Hall last week. Still in it's original box. Doesn't look like it had ever been removed.
