You do not exactly say who "they" are, but that is a well known white code word for the black folk as "they" (and yes poor white folk can be included too).
All you are really expressing is your own dirty hateful perspective of humanity, and the problem is totally inside of your own perspective.
I do know people who use narcotics, and the ones who use them the most are those who have the better paying jobs who can afford the stuff.
Really? Please educate us....

No, not the entire population - only the ignorant white trash ever make that call.
I did NOT miss the part about the Man being already drunk, and it also says that the Liquor store did refuse to sell him the booze for the food stamps.
I did not and do not say to sell booze for food stamps, as the food stamp program is working correctly and that person needs help with his drinking problem.
This thread appeared to be implying that because of this incident that there was some thing wrong with the food stamps, and of course claiming the person's race was a factor which it was not, while the real problem in that report is that a very poor and desperate Man behaved very inappropriately.
As someone who worked in a grocery store as a teen, the food stamp program is rarely going to the right people and rarely used to buy what I would consider the right things. Watched people buy expensive brands of items and very nice cuts of meat and then pull out their food stamp card from their money clip that has many $100 bills. Worked there long enough to remember the people using the food stamps. When pushing carts I would see them get in their $30-40k car.
Seriously, when it comes to welfare, you can't just keep handing out free money. Make them do something for it. There are plenty of community projects no matter how menial that could be done. Sweep, the streets, pull weeds in common areas, clean the exterior wall of a school or something. If you keep giving out money for nothing, what's the incentive to do anything. That's the vortex that brings that part of society down.
I wonder if anyone is surprised at the racial demographic of the attacker.
nope.
The one black man who is accused is simple some random black man paying the cashier on a video at a store.
:
That is really not true
We are not surprised by the "racial demographic" of all the accusers either.

If the guy only had on a hoodie then some white looking person could just shot him dead for being suspicious to the white folk.
You're calling them a liar? Saying they didn't see what they saw? Based on what Jimmy? You don't want to believe it so it's not true?
I apologize, as I got confused with this other thread HERE.
The racist comments one the one thread got me confused by the racist comments on the other thread.
To imply that the opinions here are "racist" is ridiculous. Most intelligent people in this country have caught on to that old tactic "if they don't agree, scream racism." It simply doesn't work anymore, so you'll have to come up with something new. Its not wrong to question government programs that are funded by taxpayers money. Its not wrong to scrutinize how tax payers money is being put to use, used properly or improperly. Its not wrong for me to cry foul when not only myself but others have seen multiple abuses of the program and ultimately the federal government becoming enablers of worsening conditions. The welfare program while helping some is good for those who genuinely need it, however for others in their case the medicine has become the poison.
What's really disturbing is how you defend these welfare system abusers and ignore the fact that they exist. That is the problem, and that simple fact right there is going to be what builds a growing base of support to have it heavily regulated even moreso than it already is and or shut down altogether. It seems clear that you've made the choice to side with ignorance and in the end when your made to pee in a cup, you've got investigators taking pictures of people receiving government funding riding in expensive cars and you observe the whole system start giving people the boot perhaps then you will smarten up and understand why it occurred. The reason it will happen is because ambassadors of the program like yourself continue to defend the actions of the abusers. Common sense working taxpayers are sick of going to work living normal lives and always struggling to get by in some sense while others sit at home, put in applications for jobs they probably don't want and collect state and government funding for free. What's worse is that some of these citizens collecting that free taxmoney are not being frugal but they are actually living high on the hog - bigscreen tv's, luxury cars with expensive accessories, drinking top shelf liquor, they've got money set aside for drugs, and they continue to often have multiple kids so they can get even more "assistance." The children often grow up fatherless and the cycle runs full circle. At some point it becomes the governments responsibility to break the cycle.
You deserve my pity.

I assume based on your first and second statements, you can show that your first comment "If the guy only had on a hoodie..." is fact, and not just your twisted opinion and perception of a situation.I do not see you saying anything of substance or of merit, as this is just a ranting of your own opinions and your own feelings, and as such there is no way of telling you that you are wrong because you do not present this as a matter of accuracy.
What his statement demonstrates is how well he understands how those like you are scamming the system at our expense. What your ranting does demonstrate is that you are cruel, cold, uninformed and unsafe.

Of course it was not a fact, and yes it was just my own twisted perception, and I figured that was obvious.
I still count it as true and accurate anyway.
The reference to the "hoodie" was just a re-take from the Trayvon Martin murder case.
"I do not see you saying anything of substance or of merit, as this is just a ranting of your own opinions and your own feelings, and as such there is no way of telling you that you are wrong because you do not present this as a matter of accuracy."
That is really not true - as poor people really are poor.
If they had no car or no money at all then they would be worst than poor, and the USA does not want destitute bums walking around in our rich Country.
Lots of poor people get nice things given to them by friends and by their family members and churches give nice stuff to poor people. The old Ford truck that I have use to belong to the Catholic Priest in Lex Park and it was given to me for free and I love my old truck.
The gov office that gives out Food Stamps actually monitors the Bank accounts and transactions, along with monitoring any activity to each SSN, and it is not very easy to qualify for any Public Assistance as the rules are very strict.
Really it is very seldom that Welfare gives out actual cash money, as money only goes to people with a minor child and to disabled people, and they do not give very much.
The money it takes just to keep gasoline in the Governor's Limousine would be far more money than is given to any Welfare recipient.
And when they force Welfare recipients into those menial jobs and community projects then that keeps the persons from going out to find a real job, and the low junk jobs are things that keep them down.
Poor people on Welfare have lots of incentive, as like any decent job advertised and we will get thousands of such people lining up for blocks waiting to apply for any such job.
Your information is simply not accurate.
