Down to the final four--Beta84 vs. donbarzini and BuddyLee vs. homedepot20.
All players have made their picks, and can change them up until kick-off of Game 1 tomorrow at 3:00 p.m.

There are 10 picks for each game worth different numbers of points. The biggest difference between the two is the points for the game 1 winner against the spread (5) and the game 2 winner against the spread (10).

I'll post the picks at kick-off of Game 1. Good luck, final four. :buddies:

Beta ‘tests’ barzini’s football acumen in playoff championship showdown…
Rookie Beta ‘ocho-cuatro’ takes on SoMD veteran donbarzini in the final two games before the Super Bowl. The most interesting part of this match-up is that in both games, different teams were picked to win. Depending upon how this turns out for each game, the five lesser point grabs can play a big part in deciding the winner. Total points up for the taking in both games is 34. Things to watch in this bracket:

Game 1 – Beta: Jets fly. donbarzini: Colts run. (5 pt stake)
- 1st sack (1 pt), turnovers (2 pts), last to score (3 pts) – other than the winning team pick for 5, there are only 6 other points up for grabs.
Game 2: Beta’s prayers go with the Saints, while donbarzini sees a Vikings plundering with 10 huge points on the line.
Other point grabbers:
- 1st score (1 pt), penalties (2 pts), both teams total yards (3 pts each), and total game points scored (4 pts)

Grin-On-A-Stick looks to 'Deep Freeze' Big Orange
Match-up #2 - Another veteran/rookie face off between football junkie and SoMD veteran BuddyLee (tie winner) hoping to stop 1st year rising star homedepot ‘dos-cero’ to get to the final, Super Bowl round. The lesser point picks will likely decide who advances from this bracket to the big game. 25 points are up for grabs in these two games. Things to look out for:

Game 1: BuddyLee picks Manning and the explosive Colts, while homedepot stands behind the #1 Jets’ defense. These will be 5 important points to have on the scorecard before going into the Saints-Vikings game.
- Other than the game winner pick, the only other point fodder is in both teams’ total yardage (3 pts each), which may serve as a difference maker after Game 2.
Game 2: Since both contenders ‘fav-re’d’ big purple to win, the 10 points which could have made up for missed picks in both games are no help to either in this round.
Winner makers for this one are: 1st score (1 pt), half-time score, turnovers and penalties (2 pts each), Vikes’ total yards (3 pts), and total game points (4 pts).
