Football Pool - Week 9

I used the dart method, what about you? Not much simularity.

I usually go back and forth with each match up, and usually find some rationalization for picking either one!

And in the end, usually earn a 50% or so raw pick rate (and around a 38% five pointer pick rate no matter how much time or analysis I spend on it). :lmao:

Hear ya, I figure 50% playing the spread is pretty good. Seen 9 or 10 wins last week on here by Tilted I think, unreal

Not looking at the spread sheet, but I think he has the highest raw pick rate out of everyone here (guessing around 53 or 54%).

Best raw pick rate I saw in the years doing it was Mainman with a little over 58%.

Yeah, 50% isn't bad the way we score it, with pushes counting as losses. I think we've had 4 pushes, so in fairness to everyone, their success rate is really whatever it would be if we subtracted 4 losses from their totals. Doing that would actually put a few of us ahead of the vig if we were placing real bets.

And I got pretty lucky this week having a 1 in 48 week.

58%, now that is high, especially to have for the whole season. Haven't seen Mr. Mainman around for quite a while.

I wasn't very far off, but underestimated on my guess. You're holding 54.7% raw picks so far this season. :notworthy :buddies: And last week, you only missed the fiver and one more pick. :yay: :yay:
