Does anyone have any idea where to get flower girl dresses near Waldorf? We are looking for the typical white poofy dresses for kids sizes 4 & 5. We didn't find anything at the mall & David's bridal is just WAYYY too expensive. Thanks in advance!

There is a place in the Babies r us shopping center...not sure of the name, but you can't miss it - it has dresses in the window. There is also a place next to Dollar King/Melwood Thrift store. They have some too. Also, I have found that Burlington Coat Factory has a lot of nice fancy dresses for kids.

I got my daughter's really nice dresses and formals at the consignment stores. There use to be one in Upper Marlboro but the best ones were in Edgewater near Annapolis.

I'd pay like $20 for them.

Check Burlington Coat Factory. It's been a few years ago, but last I looked for something like that they had a good selection because those styles of dresses are used for little girls about to receive first communion.

It's Carousel or something like that. I got my daughter the most beautiful dress there - they told me that the little girl who'd won the county fair the year before had been wearing a dress like it. And it was only $50!

Yes, I think it is Carousel and the one next to Dollar King may be Classy Kids or something like that.

Check ebay under "pageant dress." Got my daughter a "princess" dress to use for our Disney vacation for a fraction of the cost at the stores.

One summer (this was after 9/11) I was looking for a sailor outfit for my at the time 2 year old boy, for the baby contest at the Fairgrounds. I found one there, came with a little sailor hat, was blue and white and so cute. Anyhow he won 1st place and have notice every year that they have printed a copy of the fairground activities book his picture is in there. (I also had the white nylon knee highs and white walking shoes) He looked so adorable!!

I would try there!

There is a dress store in Marley Station Mall. It's on the upper level near Boscov's. They had the best selection of formal wear for all ages that I have seen in a long time! Prices are very reasonable. Lot's of pageant attire. Wide selection of poofy. Lots of white dresses. That's where I finally found a gorgeous white dress for my daughter's graduation.
