Just remember.. ride your ride.. you don't HAVE to keep up with the pack if you feel uncomfortable.. they pack will wait for you, and if you are at the front, the ride leader will slow to your pace.. That's what I don't get. Riding is mostly about freedom, right? Maybe pushing through a turn or hitting some stretch of road at speed and turning around and doing it again, turning up a road that looks interesting or stopping somewhere that looks inviting.
