Forum rules..

Man what a read. I guess this will teach me to take a day or two off from the "clan".

There are only two people that enforce the rules here, David and DeeJay (AKA Vraiblonde). They own and operate the site and this forum and they make the determinations as to what is or isn't acceptable.
First offenses usually get the poster a warning and the material at question usually disappears. Sometimes if it is way out of line they just go ahead and ban the poster. It is all discretionary as to how and what they do, rightfully so as it is their site. Second offenses garner a more severe warning and sometimes a time out (24 hours without the ability to interact in here). Third strike and you usually get banned.
Now with that said I would say that David and Vraiblonde are very forgiving of many indiscretions (for which I am very thankful
). They allow for playfulness with out being the Nazi dictators that control many other blog sites. They have provided a means whereby members can report offensive material for them to determine if in fact it violates their sensibilities. Because you find it offensive does not mean that they will and your options are simple. Let it slide or move on to somewhere else

If you care to post why you feel hurt or how; feel free and I can try to offer some suggestions or advice :shrug: Southern Maryland from my observation is a close knit community. We should love thy neighbor and try to help. By throwing stones back in forth just drives a wedge in this and only perpetuates the cycle of hurting back and forth. OK?

I was only wanting to know why there are forum rules, and yet not enforced...( though, I get it now ) having read them I thought it was a forum I would like to join. Now learning what I have, I'll leave. If people will stop replying here where I need to defend myself, I'll move on and make everyone happy...deal?

Nothing about Hens (NKA Piranha Club), a more appropriate snipe would have been to call him the head of the porch puppies, chief clock watcher, bigfoot, etc. (based on private group memberships). Head rooster just didn't cut it for me.
If you choose to leave so be it, no one is forcing you out. But trust me, not all on here are my friends, some are, some aren't, most I don't even know. For the most part I just enjoy the entertainment, the exchange of dialogue, and the occassional tiff. I welcome anyone that wants to join and only have had an issue when someone comes in acting all high and mighty and trying to change how this place is. Objectively speaking, as a member for about 8 years, I haven't seen that from you. Use the tools given here and ignore those that you don't care to communicate with.
