a bit off topic, but there will be another Friday the 13th next month...

how often does that happen, back to back friday the 13th's?

Every 11 years we get 3 in one year (this year). I think after March the next one is in November.

When I took Friday to the vet on the 14th, they said she was due in about a month. That means her babies could be born on Friday the 13th! Is that wild or what?

We've discussed that, and hoping the kittens make their debut on Friday the 13th.

Are you keeping momma or one of the babies..I'm confused.

Preggo kitties tend to be very lovable.

I guess it depends on if she can handle giving up Friday after falling in love with her! I was sad to see her go last night, but happy that she'd have more space to roam around and play. She was cooped up in my bedroom most of the time because I didn't want the other kitties to stress her out. Last night though, she seemed to be getting along famously with Nacho. Manny was growly/grumbly last night, but he seems to have gotten over it.

She is such a gem!

When Bug and I got home this afternoon, she was sitting on the windowsill waiting to greet us. When we got inside she actually pranced! :lmao:

She then proceeded to scratch on the couch and I :nono: her and turned around and went out to PetCo for a scratch tree, litter mat, dry food, and a couple of toys. She still loves the feathers. She carried it around like she caught and killed it. She still likes the couch, so back to the store tomorrow for something else. Thank goodness it is an old couch.

Sister and niece came to meet and visit with her for a short time too. Grandma comes for a visit this weekend to greet her as well. :yay:

Kewl, thanks! I think I saw something like that at the store today, I'll go back and get one for her. :yay:

Some cats display a reference for horizontal scratching vs vertical scratching, try to offer a few options and see if she goes for any of them. I have a few broken in scratchers here I could drop off if you want to test them on her.

Jack preferred the horizontal vs. the vertical. She knew she was not allowed to scratch the couch.

LuvBug here is now trying to get on the desk and catch the mouse pointer and climb the shelves. :lmao:

Feel free to stop by this weekend and meet the new Miss of the Household. :yay:
