Myst, you have done a great thing :high5: But, let's think futuristically for a minute, what are you gonna do if he remains unclaimed?

Thanks! I just can't let a living thing suffer. It's not in my nature.

:speakinginmic: Well I can't keep him. The kids would love too. But I have to many freakin' pets already. Literally a small zoo. I have a few people that said they'll gladly take him. I'm going to give it 48 hours. If he isn't claimed by then, off he goes to a new LOVING home.

While two days is definitely enough time for a family to claim their missing pooch, word of caution, remove all evidence that he was found before sending him to his new home.

As they say in the forums "No good deed goes unpunished" I wouldn't be surprised if the Dumass family tries to make it a big deal after their conscience kicks in during the 49th hour.

Don't forget to get little man's clothes. He is adorable.

Well I'm sure that whoever gets him (if he's not claimed) will be kind enough to return him to his rightful owners should they call after the 48 hours.

But if it takes them that long. SHAME ON THEM.

OMG I HAVE to go to bed. I guess he's going with me.

As we were driving out of the 'hood last night, we see one of our neighbors walking a new critter. A teeny tiny chi. It was too cute walking next to there big ol' lab mix.

Elaine, I think you should get him. You would look so adorable with him sitting next to you in the convertible. Imagine how much fun that would be. :coffee:

Mornin' all.

Still not one phone call. I can't believe it! If he was mine and was missing I would be frantically searching and calling everywhere.

He has made himself right at home. And he's a touch little schit too. Boy have things changed over night. He is suddenly the leader of the pack. Running and bossing the bigger dogs.
And he's soooooo cute. He gets up on my chest and when I throw my head back and howl (I did this just to see what he would do) he throws his head back and howls. It's adorable. He sits like a good boy, is house trained and half way listens ( and half way is better than my dogs)

I am really starting to think someone dropped him off.

I'm going to give him one more day for the owner to call...I really think that's a good amount of time. Then he has to go before we can't let him go. B has made it very clear, and I agree. We can't keep every damn thing that wanders up.

I feel sorry for him though when he sits in the window and cries. He makes me think he's missing his family.

Hey MMom I spoke with someone last night at bowling who said they had seen you and the dog was returned. Either that or I had a really vivid dream. Butch Wood ring a bell?

YOU talked to Sherry(sp?). :lmao:

I went to Butch's house and no one was home. I left a flyer taped to his door with a note that said someone told me it could be his dog, but no one called. I'll go by there again this afternoon.

Hey...what does Butch's wife look like do ya know? And do you know if she drives a white car?

The people we bought our house from had a tiny rat terrier (under 5 lbs) that the lady found running down the road near the neighborhood. I sure wish an ity bity would get lost near me...
