I LOVE this picture/caption - wish I could help, but I just had surgery on my shoulder 2 weeks ago, and I only have minimal use of that arm so far. It's been a frustrating and painful process so far. Just imagine only having your off-hand to use - I'm not always as patient a person as I thought I was .... LOL
If you get desperate for a place for him to go until he's placed, let me know, and I'll work it out somehow alright? I'd rather not see him in the shelter, although he'd probably get adopted by how cute he looks? Not really sure how much foot traffic they are getting at Tri-County these days?
Hey Ark, I just sent you an email. here is the info for anyone else:
I sent him via Animal Control to the Tri-County Animal shelter this morning (11/19/10). 69798 Is his file number, he should be listed under the name "Scamp" They have to hold him for six days before they can release him to anyone, but then he will be available. I kept him for two days and my dogs were totally out of wack, I had to have somewhere to put him.
He is about 15 pounds, house trained (though he did dribble a few places when he was first here.) Crate trained, I would say he is about 1 to 1 1/2 years old. Great family dog, played sweetly with my two kids. He was not aggressive with my three dogs or my cat. I think he would like to be alpha male, but that might change after he is neutered. He can jump fences and bite through the collar and leashes that are not metal.
He dances on his back paws and licks but only a few, he is not a super licker. His personality is sweeter than his face. He also was excellent on the leash. I took a few more pictures and will post them tonight.
He is a great little guy. I'm not going to give up on finding him a home or a rescue.
