I realize you've only posted 440 posts in about 5 years, but you had to have read some of my posts in the past.
I do not believe Nhboy is a racist. I do not believe boy calling Faulkner a bimbo was racist. We have had to tolerate hundreds of charges by the left of racism. From disagreeing with Obama, to using self-defense, to being a member of a grassroots movement (the Tea Party) racism has become the answer to everything the left disagrees with. Their entire line of debate has been cheapened to one very simple term in an attempt to vilify those they disagree with. Not facts or substance – we’re all racists. Being kind… it’s absurd and they don’t even see the bigotry in their own rhetoric.
So, just as they behave absurdly, I am being absurd – sarcastic. Nhboy calling Harris Faulkner a bimbo is bigoted and hateful; the very thing liberals claim to be fighting against. They’re a bunch of hypocrites.

The only time I might call someone out for misspelling is when they call folks idiots or ignorant or needing to learn the English language while laced with misspellings and grammar problems. I make a lot of spelling and grammar mistakes so I can’t play that game. I put most of my posts in Word to try to catch most of that stuff.

Tolerant enough for a highly educated Muslim man in history and religious studies to be justified in writing a book about Christianity regardless of his personal beliefs. I'd say the same about a highly educated Christian man in in history and religious studies who wrote a book about Islam. The book isn't comparative religion, it's a scholarly piece on the history at the times of Jesus in Palestine. :shrug:

Agree with him or not, I do have to say that she was pushing too hard and that he did provide her with a valid reason for writing the book.
From what I hear, he wrote on a historical level instead of writing from the position of the authors personal belief.
Im pretty sure that there are some facts or conclusions in the book based on historic documentation interpreted through his personal feelings, but overall I see little reason to discount his book completely.
as a matter of fact, Its very possible that his book could even further the proof of Christ as the savior since it was written by a non believer and the truth still came out.
