Are you thinking like a kid?
nope but I have a tendency to act like one.

we went to a showing of "grease" out on the lawn of CSM last month that was free. They said they will be doing it again over the summer with different movies. The kids had alot of fun. They had popcorn and lots of other snacks for sale. We stopped and got dinner and had a picnic, it was great.
I used to take mine to the carwash and squirt the wand in the air. They loved that!
Cheap fun.
It sure does wear them out. My oldest has been doing that hike since she was 2 years old. She complained a lot less at 2
We did it last year too and the oldest complained as much as our 2 year old. The 3 and 4 year old did the best
National Harbor is open. Has anyone been yet? National Harbor Home Page
I can't see anything that would interest a kid...
My girl is older and would most definitely enjoy lunch along the water.I can't see anything that would interest a kid...
I was going to suggest we take the all the kiddos one day.. but nah daddy has to be with us.. he ends up carrying at least 1 of the 3 on the way back
Do kids stil have fun playing the simple things like tag or hide n' seek or even hopscotch w/sidewalk chalk?]

(or do they just use the chalk to outline each other when playing cops and robbers, er... I mean po-po and gangstahs?)

What happened to good old fashioned mud pie making, and catching bees and lightening bugs in a jar.....

I heard their is a new chalk... 3D Chalk. Haven't seen it myself but my friend says it's awesome. We used to let the kids take chalk to Anne Marie Gardens but they don't allow it anymore It's a great place to ride bikes for the kids though.
We already have a collection of those and teeny tiny frogs/tadpoles.
