My daughter is getting ready to move to Raleigh, NC. Sounds like a nice place to retire someday if the kid will stay in one place.

I'm going to Winston-Salem the weekend of the 2nd. I haven't ever deliberately stopped in NC before, always just drove through it on my way home to SC. This should be a nice mini-vacation for mommy though!

My daughter is getting ready to move to Raleigh, NC. Sounds like a nice place to retire someday if the kid will stay in one place.

Crabcake is closer to Raleigh. It would be a great place to retire. I love the coast but the piedmont region is nice too. We should be heading to the mountains for some wine tasting on Sat. The scenery should be gorgeous with the leaf colors.

Enjoy your drive! I will be heading down there tomorrow except we will be headed towards Camp Lejeune/ Jacksonville. My brother in law just got back from Iraq on Tuesday!
