I get bored to fast alone though. I'll go on a few drives, walk the shops in town and that takes a half day. the other half I see my cousins for a while, camp out then hit the road

I have a good friend who is I&I staff at a reserve center in Winston-Salem. He's a gunny now and with almost 20 years in service.
But a lot of camp grounds don't have sites for campers that big. Have friend with one that size, they have problems finding camp grounds that will take them.

Makes sense to me! I just figured it is a good day drive, to walk around, bs and go buy a few things and come home before it gets to dark !

If I wasn't always alone I would consider a camper. For me though I can sleep anywhere, especially when camping, so I never saw the need for me to get one. I take my little stove, and do a lot of cooking right on the fire. It's a lot easier to travel light
