Fritz being Fritz? Going full Stalin on Jaymi Sterling

I’ve had a dozen peace orders for using her sidewalk. Here’s what her immediate neighbors put up with.

I remember her and what she was doing. I saw some videos of her somewhere, must have been YT. Sorry you had to go thru all of that. And I thought my neighbors were bad. Anyone remember the one next to me begging for everything/anything? I had a meltdown on her not long ago. She was knocking on my bedroom window asking for a cigarette. I lost it I was so mad. She had a complete breakdown recently. I was told she was committed. I know I haven't seen her for over a month and she's normally pacing around outside. I'm not asking the husband, all I want to say to him is hi.

Well now. It does appear that I was incorrect. Apparently primary posts can be edited with no "edited" line being placed. The "edited" line does show up on comments within a post from other poster commenting though when edited. Went back in time scrolling and looked up one instance, and, sure enough, it was edited. This post was originally posted on August 15, 2019 and edited on December 2, 2021, almost two and a half years later. Must have taken someone quite a bit of time to scroll through all those old posts to edit them.

I don't know anything about her and am judging her solely on her father, who I loathe.
I am not a fan of Fat Larry either, and sometimes people can be judged by Daddy. People like Hunter Biden.
But that really isn't the best way to pick a candidate.

It's a heads up. Children of shitheads tend to be shitheads themselves, in one way or another. Looking at who they were raised by and who they surround themselves with is a good place to start when vetting a political candidate.

Regarding the Somd Forums: When you edit a post, you have the option of it showing as edited or not. Click Edit on one of your posts and you should see the "edit silently" option.

Regarding FB: I can guarantee you that Fritz himself doesn't have anything to do with the FB posts. My guess would be that when Jaymi Sterling resigned from the SAO some intern went in and removed her from the posts. The timing is about right, given the dates of everything. Rick Fritz may not have even known it happened.

Regarding people on the internet: Nobody would have realized that Sterling was edited out of years old FB posts had whoever not decided to be all investigativy journalismy about it and tell you you should be outraged. She hasn't been "erased" because here she is, highly visible running for SAO, getting tons of press. Her name and pic are no longer on a 3 year old Shop With A Cop post - oh nosers!! Tragedy!

I have no way of knowing why those posts were edited and neither do you. Could be because the intern figured she was gone so she should be removed from FB posts; it could be pure juvenile spite. Regardless, it doesn't matter and it's amazing to me that anyone would be all indignant about this. That Jaymi Sterling herself is making a big deal over it tells me a lot about her character, but she also clearly knows her audience and her outrage worked because...."FULL!! STALIN!!!"

:drama:

Not just Stalin, ya'll - FULL Stalin.

:lmao:

AND it was highlighted two days before the primary election. :lmao: You have to hand it to her - that's a move right out of Ken Rossignol's playbook.

I don't see that. Maybe available only to paid-up members?

Jayme Sterling was in college when Hogan married her mother. She is not his child and she wasn't raised by him. I'm not a fan of Hogan and I am bother by her ability to raise more money than Fritz because of her association with Hogan. However, I am a proponent of term limits and as such I feel that I should not be voting for the same person over and over again. Fritz has been in office for almost thirty years. It's past time for a change.

Moderator function.

See, I'd think if regular members don't have the option to edit silently it would default to showing the Edited tag.

I know you can edit without a tag showing up if you do it within x-minutes of posting. You should test this for us.

But she was raised by Yumi Hogan and I loathe her too. And she is absolutely benefiting from her close relationship with Larry Hogan, although to me that is a negative.

This x1000 ^^ . Everyone gripes about him, then they vote to keep him in office. On one hand it's like, okay, if that's who you want that's who you should have regardless of how long that dinosaur has been there. On the other hand, people are stupid and vote like chit, so I'm somewhat in favor of saying enough is enough and removing one of their choices.

You have to admit Ken knew how and would stir up a crowd. Who else would make a federal case about his newspaper selling out.
