You call that fun? Geez and I thought I had a boring life:lmao:

I think my weekend of insulating my attic was better than all she listed

Oh....the youngest had a soccer game(high point of the weekend)

Where can you get a carbon dioxide detector around here? Why would I want one? What does carbon dioxide have to do with a wood stove or fireplace?

Carbon dioxide :lmao: she must of not went to chemistry class

I have a smoke/carbon monoxide detector in both my hallways....the old smoke alarms didn't even work so I replaced them with really cool ones that talk to you after the alarm goes off

I think today is a good day to dig out the warm clothes and pitch a few old clothes.

Its also a good day to go Halloween candy shopping at Target.

Another good idea for today is to change the battery in the smoke alarm.

It seems that a lot of people forget this and pay later.

I would also check out a carbon dioxide detector if you have a fireplace or wood stove..

ALSO I am looking for a hot tub used or new at a good price

Hubby has arthritis and I just like to soak!

If you have one email me your phone number and the information and I will give you a call!

I keep missing them in the pennysaver!!!

Who do you think you are, Peggy Hill?

"in my opinion, a hot tub is a nice place to take a soak"

We got one of those. I wanted my kids to be aware of what it sounds like so that they would know what to do if it ever goes off, so I pushed the button. My son freaked out. It made him aware that it was actually possible that there could be a fire. It was very traumatic for him.

Okay, be honest now... Did you laugh while he was freaking or wait until later when you were alone? :lmao:

Actually, I couldn't laugh. He was genuinely terrified. His safe little world where nothing bad happens had been shattered. It was very traumatic for him.

Maybe the suggestions aren't for you. Maybe they're for people who are new to the area and looking for something to do. That ever occur to you?
I guess you misunderstood my intentions. I was directing my thoughts to people who just moved here not the local yocals who assume everyone is a threat!
