Funny but for years I drove an econobox and when job/money got better I bought an explorer and then was driving an Expedition to and from Pax from Waldorf. Just gave it up for a Honda and parked the truck. It was a ridiculous unneccessary epense to spend $75 every four days or so.
Idiot I work with just got a Honda Accord so he can save gas. The first thing he does is put $1200 into the wheels, tinting, and stupid muffler. Today he gets a ticket for 90 in a 55. But he is saving $5 per week on gas! Good investment! :yay:

never understood why a lot of guys want a truck for a daily driver. I can understand if you need one for your job, then you can get tax breaks for using it.
If it meant saving several hundred $$ a month, get a beater Toyota or Honda

He bought it before he got a work truck. He knew he was getting one but during that layover he had to drive it to work and recently he just switched companies so they are working the work truck issue out. He didnt get it with the idea that he was going to be driving it on a regualr abasis to work but when he does have to, it sucks.

I'd find a new job

When I fill the F150, 36gal tank on it, and I normally go to Hollywood Burchmart... so whatever it is, it is...

And the Ranger has an 18gal tank, and I go to Sheetz or Wa-Wa to fill it...
I wish I could find work closer to home. Dang driving to Rockville is no fun

The one I bought is a 96 model that was dearler maintained by the analest of anal who even had a spreadsheet of everytime he put gas in it since new to include price per gallon, miles and avg gas mileage. Car has 274000 miles and runs like a dream. Got it for a commuter car but love driving it so much I have pretty much parked the truck for awhile. Nice to drive 250 miles and still have over a half a tank!!!!

Yeah easier to get your kicks from good ole American horsepower. Cheaper than a 50" exahaust that sounds like my Sears 3000 gt riding mower. :lmao:

I drove an 89 Festiva when I was working in Leesburg, :lmao: I was putting too many miles on the Magnum so I pulled my old car out of the bushes. Magnum was parked for 3 months and I still put 40,000 miles on it in a year.

I think the best car I have had for mileage was my 04 toyota echo. If I drove easy I could get 50 MPG. I would typically get 43. Now jump in my Blazer at 6 MPG :jameo:
