They call me ... Sarcasmo
Red tape is more like it. Plus, banks are discouraged from opening lines of credit to start new rigs. So, a big disparity between having a permit and producing oil.

Thank you.Red tape is more like it. Plus, banks are discouraged from opening lines of credit to start new rigs.
I thought you liked going in places, looking them in the eye and getting to know your neighbors?I could walk in and have them authorize the pumps for whatever amount but I’m too lazy to do that - it is more fun to complain on here. Besides, I just insert my card again and keep filling. It is also more fun to insert multiple times...
Yes, Obama is Biden’s butt buddy. Good one. Great sarcasm. Obama, along with Soros, Schwab, etal are Biden’s puppeteers. God bless the USA.Congrats Brandon, you brought back the historic gas prices of your butt buddy obamao. I bet you are proud of yourself. Mao and Stalin approve.
I noticed that too. Wawas in PF and Dunkirk are still at $4.19.FWIW: During my morning commute I noticed that gas prices have NOT gone up in the past 24 hours. *At least at the stations I passed.
I have a cousin who has worked for Sclumberger as an engineer for 32 years (he's retiring this year). He's been stationed in Norway, Saudi Arabia and Texas over that time. Drives him crazy to see the kinds of BS uttered by Psuki and other admin parrots. I don't recall the details because we had the conversation some years ago, but he was lamenting the amount of overhead expense that goes in to the whole permitting process. It takes a large group of people and incredible amounts of time to "keep the permits flowing" because its an absolute necessity to do so to keep operations continuous. Only a fraction of permits actually result in oil or gas above ground and the elapsed time is measured in years. Further, many permits are never used....which give Psuki the false pretense she uses for her bogus statements. So, a big disparity between having a permit and producing oil.
Lol caught me! But I did go inside after filling and bought a $2 danish so I could say hi to the cashier. And get fatterI thought you liked going in places, looking them in the eye and getting to know your neighbors?
I figured there would be pushback on Psuki's lies. I expect there will be a lot more of both. Here is an article with counterpoints to CircleBack's statements yesterday:
Energy industry swipes back at Psaki 'red herring' comment on oil and gas leases
Energy industry representatives said the reason so many drilling permits sit unused is more complicated than White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki suggested.www.foxbusiness.com
I own 5 acres of "oil land" in Texas. It's part of a really old field that was developed during the first oil boom in the early 1900s. It just sat there since. About 10 years ago, I leased it to a company that is/was using modern recovery techniques to go back in to old sites and recover oil and gas. They have not done anything with it.I have a couple of dollars tied up with oil exploration outfit working the ANS now. They have been working this current lease for 3 years and all indications are that this is the year that they get what is technically called a "discovery". The seismic modeling for all of their current, active leases puts them at an estimated 1.6B barrels of oil and over 1 TCF of natural gas. Unfortunately, they are an exploration company with a small production facility in Texas, which doesn't help the AK ops.
You need to tell 'em to get it in gear. You have boats and trucks to fill up!I own 5 acres of "oil land" in Texas. I might just drive down there with a bunch of empty 5-gal jugs and make 'em fill them up. Then I'll have to figure out what to do with that black gloppy mess...You need to tell 'em to get it in gear. You have boats and trucks to fill up!
