I'm not sure why you are so obsessed with Trumps Sex Life, when YOU Progressives Gave Clinton a Pass

BS. Youve never once asked my opinion on Clinton.

Its the hypocrisy and the fact that our president has extremely poor judgment to have un protected sex with multiple women while married and expose himself to blackmail and payoffs. Some of which may have been illegal

You yourself have mentioned multiple times the failure of our wars in the middle east. Now it's not a big deal that Trump's third National Security Advisor is a warmonger who advocated for some of the very same conflicts you disagree with?

He didn’t just advocate for them in the past tense. He recently argued that he would go 8nto Iraq again if given the option to do it over again.

I guess to me, I've heard him a LOT on TV, and I basically like him.

He was part of a piece I saw on "Kennedy" which I thought was hilarious - they got someone from each side - I don't remember who the liberal was - and they each had to argue
as if they were on the opposite side of the issue. The liberal guy started and his bit was full of what I guess a liberal imagines goes through a conservative mind and I think
kind of broke the whole point of it - and John came on and did the same, but it was so damned funny, all three of them were in tears.

So, it's your thought that Bolton is getting into this just to get us into another war? He's wringing his hands, with an evil giggle, in anticipation of convincing Trump which country to invade next?

I'm saying that Trump selected a known warmonger (see above) and will have no problem sending more troops to god knows where if given the option.

Not sure where you came up with your idea given the info posted thus far.

Bolton is going to serve as an advisor. That's it. He will give the president his advice on things National security. He does not, and will not, make the decision to send our troops anywhere. That's the job of the president.

So, I'll ask you again... is it your fear that Bolton took this job as an opportunity to convince the president to get us into another war? Do you believe that will be his objective?

Well he’s hawkish on the NORKs but, no, I don’t think his intent is to get us into another war. His goal is to double-down on the wars we are currently involved in, ostensibly to win. But these aren’t winnable wars.

Well, we'll differ on whether our current wars are winnable or not. But, he is like me... if we're going to get into war, we should get in to win. And we haven't done that. We have failed at fighting and winning wars since Korea. I would think Bolton's strategy (if he actually has one), in this doubling-down, would be to go all-in or get out. Perhaps Bolton knows how to win wars. I don't see that as being a warmonger, I see that as someone who wants to use pretty-much everything we have at our disposal to win and shorten war, and reduce American casualties.

EDIT: and given what NORK has done launching his missiles over Japan several times, I consider that an act of war. We should all be hawkish about dealing with this sort of aggression. What do you think our country would do if NORK or Russia or Iran launched missiles over our land?

Considering that Bolton is the "architect" of these wars, I wonder what will he do differently this time?

Bolton played a minor role in supporting an invasion into Iraq.

Paul Wolfowitz (prime)
Dick Cheney
Richard Perle
Jerry Bremer
Scooter Libby

just to name a few. To say Bolton was the architect is a huge stretch. There are dozens involved in pushing for that war.

What will Bolton do? He will advise Trump on matters National Security. He is extremely hawkish on NORK, but I'm not certain he will push for war at this point; especially given Trump has stated he's willing to meet with Un.

They're all cut from the same neocon mold and of the same mind.

especially given Trump has stated he's willing to meet with Un.

No way in hell that will happen, especially now that Bolton has the president's ear on this matter.

I believe I can say without fear of contradiction that Bolton doesn't give a flying #### what Sap, Midnight, Starman, or Chris think of him

and neither does Trump-----------and that's a good thing.

Mark Steyn has this right.

Trump's cave-in on the 2,232-page Schumer-Pelosi Early-Christmas-For-Big-Bloated-Budget-Busting-Bureaucracy Bill that not a single person on this planet has actually read. Oh, and don't give me that "increased funding for our troops" straw-clutching: every sentient creature from the earthworm up knows that the extra dough's just going to go to diversity programs and gender reassignment surgery as opposed to anything that might increase the odds of actually winning the next 17-year war.
