Ok. The young male prodigy just lost his first tooth. When I was a kid I was lucky to get a buck. What is the going rate for teeth these days?

I would say a buck is enough. the tooth fairy accidently left me a 20.00 bill once lol as he didn't have his glasses on and thought it was 1 dollar.

In My Opinion
it was 5 to 7 bucks a tooth around here when it was happening.

I hate living around people that have money, their kids are spoiled and my kid thought she should get the same....

so she did.

I was thinking 5 bucks. I know inflation is a Biatch so I figured that was what is was up to. He told me it was worth a Million but I know I cannot swing that one.

A paper bill doesn't feel the same as solid metal.

A quarter feels just right under the pillow when the little hand goes to check in the morning.

Take him out for a treat after to celebrate.

$1 in this house. Imagine my poor child's face when her friend got $5. She thought she had done something wrong.

Yeah I was talking to someone a few minutes ago and their daughter got $10.00. So now what? I guess he might get more for the first tooth and maybe we scale back for the rest.

We gave Princess a Discover card and a cell phone. Wifey called her on it before she was up in the morning and acted like the tooth fairy.

:yeahthat: Mine ALWAYS get a handful of loose change. They had to learn to count money in order to figure out how much they got.

My little guy lost a tooth several days ago (he's 11 now) He just handed it to me (for my collection).

I made him his favorite in return...mac and cheese.

I do miss the tooth fairy days.

Awwww, we did that for my grandfather when he lost his teeth.

ok, looking back the bull and corn on the cob roast might have been insensitive, but after the 4th picture of beer, he was ok with it all.

I think the most we have given is 2 bucks but at grandma's house the toothfairy left 5 bucks and some change :lmao: So we had to explain that the toothfairy there is a special one that only visits there.

You're a LOON :)
Mine got $7 or was it $8 for the first tooth... $5 for every tooth after. We thought $5 wouldn't be to bad... then they started losing 2 a week.... or all 3 kids would lose one within a few days of each other. We didn't plan for that
