for a man like me who went bass fishing all his life... over 10 years of bass fishing tourneys... and when I hear this kind of language after I "retired" from the tournament thing.. oh man oh man ... flashbacks of fishing in the deep south.. midwest .. new england .. *sigh*

I remember casting spinnerbait over the gator where the weeds are.. boy that was something! I think it was a 4 pounder .. caught in Santee Cooper in SC .. fun times.

I caught 2 / 10 lb bass in New York back in '88........I can't remember the name of the lake.

Alright let me make it more simple for you to read ..

when I was on my bass boat .. creeping up the creek using my trolling motor .. and I had to stop crawling cuz that damn gator was in my way and it won't swim away so I cast the lure OVER the gator and hope the bass bite it before the lure gets caught on the gator when reeling it in.. ya know the feeling of excitement , huh? :hello:

the 4 lb largemouth bass caught it and I jerk it out of the water without bumping into the gator.

when I was on my bass boat .. creeping up the creek using my trolling motor .. and I had to stop crawling cuz that damn gator was in my way and it won't swim away so I cast the lure OVER the gator and hope the bass bite it before the lure gets caught on the gator when reeling it in.. ya know the feeling of excitement , huh? :hello:

No reason to get perterbed. Not all of us fish over gators or try to get bass amongst a life-threatening environment. If you want to further excite yourself, I may know of some copperheads that like having hooks thrown at them too!

copperheads, cottonmouths and water moccasions .. been there .. done that .. boring.
