Mechanical engineering. He is REALLY interested in space flight and is an outstanding physics student, but as far as which career direction he wants to go in, I have no idea.

More good news! The oldest has been accepted to 4 of 7 universities he has applied to and has been awarded A LOT of scholarship money with one of them that would pay for close to 75% of his degree. Just waiting on his top 3 schools to get back to him which should be in the next 30 days.

Is he going to stay 'in-state'? If not, double-check to see if the scholarship coverage is based on the in-state amount. Also, take into consideration the cost of housing. If the scholarship doesn't cover any dorm costs you would want to way that as well.
