Good riddance, Android!

Not so friendly on the droid batteries. :bubble:

I had to get the extended battery for the T-Bolt, but overall happy with the phone, but don't think that had to do with 4G(had 3G only when I bought the phone), that phone just ate up the battery.

Though the Galaxy SIII that BG has is the bom-diggity..

That's what I have and I LOVE it. I had the extended battery with the Droid Pro and I still had to charge it twice a day.

Some of that low battery is the $hitty signals arround here. I swear when I go to California I can go days without charging my phone, back in the days of flip phones I went an entire week without charging it.

I got the new Galaxy and love it! I just can't make the switch to iPhone.

I know folks who have switched from iPhone to GS3 and they all say the GS3 is better.

I dunno, that Galaxy III is getting great reviews but I'm 0-2 with Samsung phones... Love their tv's and blu-ray... Not impressed with their cells at all... Hmmmm... Torn...

My parents have been rockin' their Samsung flip phones since 2004. :lmao:

have to agree

You're tech-savvy with phones, right? Any ideas/suggestions? I know if I buy the new 5, something will come out next month that will make me wonder if I should've waited...

I just noticed a ton of apps now are just for the iPhone (the ones I seem to want)...

Hubby already picked up his iPhone 5 and loves it! Said it is a ton faster than his 4 and a lot lighter, too.

I'd go with the 5 if you have upgrade credit, other wise find a 4s. If google could control the distribution of Android it would kill iOS but the carriers and OEMs ruin it.

We switched the wife's phone to the 5 from a Galaxy 1. We will most likely never be back to Android. As for me I'm stuck on Blackberry for work, but I also dont have to pay anything for it.

One of my favorite phones was my Samsung that was an awesome camera, and also a phone. FLipshot, I think was the name.

I had one last SIII temptation, and dropping my OG Droid for the 15,456.985 time made me look up Galaxy III drop test. Reaffirmed my thoughts that I want that Moto Droid toughness. The edges of my Droid look like it's been through a war, but it's never been knocked out.

My android phone has worked great the whole time.

Its not android that is the problem. Its that there are a number of manufacturer's and variants for price points... you have to research your options and pick one - just like buying a PC; there are great ones and there are bad ones. Apple just makes it easy... one manufacturer and very limited variants; however, you are always tied to Apple.

And obviously that is not any kind of issue?
