SCRAPPLE is the best! I can't really think of what it is when I'm eating it, but it's still my favorite breakfast food.
I like it a lot, too. When I get a craving for it, I'll eat it over a few days until I've used it all up.

If you know what's in it and where it came from, it's a whole lot easier to like it.
 I thought it was like hotdogs, NEVER read the list of ingredients or you won't eat it till you forget what's in there.

:howdy: Good Morning everyone  time to go back to bed.

I took the day off to be with my boys, since schools out. They have been pestering to get in the creek. Way too muddy today.

Well, it depends on your perspective. Farm folks have different ideas about good eats than other folks do. (Then again, they make some meals that are AWESOME!)

For instance, that part of my family introduced me to pickled pig's feet as a garnish or as a snack food, and I love it. Most folks look at me like I'm a sick pup when I say that, though.

My dad likes those. My tolerance for eating the unusual was given a boost by overseas travel with the Navy. I learned to eat first and ask what it was later.

My kid always wants to see the cow tongue's, pig & chicken feet when we go to the store. I always tease her that she is going to have it for breakfast. :lmao:

I have to say, even though I grew up in the dirt of rural GA I have never felt compelled to try pig feet.

I have had cow tongue before and it was not remarkable in any way.
