I realize you linked to a new letter on the other site, but really, how many threads do we need on this subject? Why not just add a post to one of the other threads on their leaving?

What's up w/ the new(?) guy on 97.7 in the morning. When did he start?

Boomer and I came to the realization that we and the owners had different opinions on the way the station should be run and we were not comfortable with the direction that they wanted to take the station.

SOunds to me like Dawn and Boomer forgot their place.. WHY should they have an opinion on how the station is run? They are the hired help, not the owners, not the management.

Because it's their job to offer opinions. I get paid to do my job, but I also have my own systems in place. Maybe Somar should have listened to D&B and perhaps they wouldn't be hiring again. :shrug:

In a sense, yes. Somar tried to cover up what happened with T&H and D&B chose to speak about it. I give them credit.

Mojo in the Morning - he started yesterday.

I haven't decided if I like him or not. So far the needle is pointing positively.


98.3 also has a new morning DJ who started yesterday. I think her name is Sarah or something like that - I only heard her one time yesterday and she mentioned it was her first day. I've formed no opinion on her one way or the other, but she sounded a little bit like Dawn.
