While Virginia doesn't have the same well oiled fraud machine as Maryland (Ellen Saurbrey anyone?) they still haven't counted the "late" mail in votes or the ones people picked up and "forgot" to deliver, instead securing the bags behind their couches, in their basements and in their winter coat closets.

Latest at one site I saw with Virginia results, as of about 15 minutes ago there are not enough outstanding votes to change the results.

I do find it interesting that in these latest rounds of elections, one thing sticks out - IN PERSON voting seems to always favor the GOP.
The democrat voters are lazy, let's say there was no fraud(😁), they need people to vote that really don't care, hence the providing people with food and drinks, rides to polls and mail in ballots.

Which makes you wonder how many of those D votes were fraudulent or coerced. Normally you'd have to apply for an absentee ballot way in advance; now they hand them out to everybody on the street.

I wouldn't mind seeing a full analysis of that - I think I heard that if the only votes counted last year were the ones in person on election day, Trump wins easily.

When I develop software, one of the key phrases used - which you've heard before - is K.I.S.S. - Keep It Simple, Stupid. The more features you add, the MORE likely it is to have failure. You want to protect a house, the more entry points there are, the more likely it can be entered.

You add ten ways people can vote - you're opening the door wider for fraud. You know, it's not like people have only just started cheating - you know that guy I quote all the time? Dick Tuck "people have spoken" guy? When he was losing, he said "wait till the dead vote comes in". They try to make elections secure with the idea that people really don't plan to cheat. And they always do.

Last year, they opened up so many ways to vote - my sister sent in her ballot. It came back. They told her she had ALREADY VOTED.

I KNOW there's cheating. I say this often enough - a fraudulent vote takes away YOUR vote, and my sister is one example (I know she contested it, but I don't know if she got her chance). Like you I'd rather see a more secure election than a more open one. Right now, you can't get into some places unless you can produce that vaccination card. But they want ANYONE to walk in anywhere and vote, including illegals.

Really? I know there are some states that do all mail voting (something like 5), it certainly isn't all of them and most still require an application for a "by mail" ballot.

You must have slept through 2020. There are a number of news articles on the internet you can use to catch up on what you missed, though.

Nope, but you must have missed where those provisions were specifically only for 2020.

I also must have missed where largely Democrat counties rescinded mail-in ballots, unless you don't think those count as "absentee". There were a chit TON of them in VA.

You're missing something alright.

You said they "hand them out to everybody on the street" when in fact, by law, mail-in (AKA absentee) ballots did in fact have to be applied for.
