Govt Work at Home May Be Over

LightRoasted

If I may ...
For your consideration ...

When the base closed gate 3 during the day a few restaurants south of the gate ended up closing, the drive from gate 2 down there was just too long to support them for lunch. Most people never noticed except the people that worked near gate 3 that went there for lunch.

Can't count how many places I didn't realize were closed until months later when a new place went in.

Different scenario.

Is that the way it works at PAX? Does everyone or most everyone take the SAME DAY?
My CWS is next Friday. We alternate at my command to provide support Mon-Fri every week. Also, If I am working from home and go to the store during my lunch break what business is it of anybody besides my boss? I normally work 0530-1530 but frequently work until 2000 with no overtime paid. How about all those others bit**ing about work from home people? How much extra time do you put in?

When I worked from home (which was rarely) I would often answer emails etc off the clock. I took my computer on vacation incase something was needed (SME for those that know what it is), but I'm done with that, I will be either on leave or working during working hours only now.

Yea most people have the same day, approximately 15% are on the opposite friday.
Interesting. I work on a reimburseable but we specifically have a small staff. Which translates into every person with a different day. Always need someone and not enough people.

I’m off today - because taking wife for Valentine’s Day.
